To participate, you only need to register once on the website to receive a unique barcode that is valid for all parkruns, including those abroad. In Kerry, there are four parkruns located in Listowel, Tralee, Killarney, and Inch.

The course in Tralee is a 5 km route comprising of three laps, with participants sticking to the outer path throughout the race. Later on that day you will get an email telling you where you came in the run and what time you did that parkrun in.

Sunday’s Tralee junior parkrun

Additionally, a junior parkrun is held every Sunday at 9:30 specifically for children aged 4 to 14. This 2 km course is fully marshalled and follows a different route from the Saturday parkrun, involving two laps through The Rose Garden.

As they approach the finish line they are cheered on enthusiastically by the spectators.
