When is the Greyhound Racing in Tralee?

Tralee Greyhound Stadium is a good night out. There is a restaurant on the top floor so you can eat and bet on the tote at the same time. The meetings are on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

I like to do a reverse forecast which will cost you as little as €2 a race but you could win big. There are 10 to 11 races in total so you could only lose €22. Visit their homepage here.

What is the Nearest beach to Tralee?

Banna and Maharees beaches.

We have 2 Blue Flag Beaches within miles of town. The water quality of the two Beaches is superb. Banna Beach and Maharees are sometimes good for surfing. Now and then there will be a surfing school located at the Banna beach.

Also, people go beach fishing for sea bass, etc. People flock to the Maharees to get rays of sunshine. Children can partake in all the water sports that the 2 beaches can cater for. There is a nine-hole golf course in Castlegregory that is very near the Maharees.

There are beaches closer to Tralee, but they are not Blue Flag beaches because they have no lifeguards and changing rooms, etc. The water quality is excellent. They are much quieter.
